We are in the process of planning and booking the entertainment for the 2020 party. Check back for updates, but you can see who performed last year below.
Taking the main stage all night is DJ Beuller!
DJ Bueller is the duo of Aaron Scofield and Lex de Azevedo. Both are music producers, remixers, and veteran club DJs. They've produced hundreds of syndicated mixshows for FM and internet radio from the 1990s through 2000s. These mixes would later become "The Saturday Night Safety Dance" on Sirius/XM's FirstWave.
We also have some other amazing talents spinning night of!
I am DJ StormyRoxx. I have been DJing and producing events for nearly 20 years. I have played my eclectic style of music for both intimate gatherings and large festivals including: Burning Man, SHiFT, and Gays H8 Techno. I have a monthly Queer party called NoFOMO at the Bit House Saloon. I have guest DJ'd for many fantastic events in several cities as well. I am excited to play Red Dress Party again this year! As a child of the 80's, I find this year to be a unique opportunity to delve into my past and find selections which I consider classics, inspirational, a forgotten gem, or just a good ol' guilty pleasure. I think what I have planned may surprise those who are familiar with my music. I hope so anyways :)
A Portland DJ since 2000, DJ Gregarious started shaking up the bar and club scene before quickly making a ruckus as the first DJ at Lola’s Room (in the Crystal Ballroom) with the hugely successful 80’s dance night, "ShutUp & Dance", which ran an incredible 13 years. A three-time winner, six-time nominee for Willamette Week’s “Best DJ’s”, DJ Gregarious performs at 150 events a year, including fashion shows, corporate functions, wrap parties, weddings and awards shows.
Claudia Martinez is a Chicago native, turned Portland transplant. From an early age she has been influenced by the musical stylings of Chicago underground house DJ’s from the late 80’s and early 90’s allowing her to find creative ways to transition between acid, disco, and classics. Her signature sound can be found echoing through your neighborhood bar at her residency at Night Light Lounge, to getting the crowd moving during festival events with the Parasol Mafia family, or curating Bitchin': a showcase of female identified talent in the Pacific Northwest. Currently, she is working on projects with the PDjX collective and newly established Chicago label, Phone Records.
DJ Scotty D is a native Oregonian, born and raised in the Portland-area. He picked up his DJing hobby in high school, learning beat-mixing from established local DJs and building his extensive vinyl collection of 80's-90's 12" remixes. Over the years, he's honed his skills through numerous events and club bookings, including four previous Red Dress parties. He's excited to be back at Red Dress this year to support this incredible event, and to dust off his retro vinyl for some old-school grooves in the VIP lounge!
